The notion that we are here on Earth just to fill a gap in our travels through the universe is one which needs exploring further, for if this is the case then our lives here would be meaningless to some extent; to live our life without meaning would be a waste.
Many people at this time have become disillusioned with ‘life.’ This is reflected by the attitude of society as a whole where it seems easy to blame God or a Higher Power for everything that’s both wrong in the world and with the world, or to hold the belief that if there was a God He would intervene. This lack of consideration leads to denial of the cause of the destruction of the planet and its inhabitants resulting in failure to accept responsibility for any of it which lies firmly at the feet of human beings, not God’s. This is creating much confusion on Earth causing many people to question the validity of words spoken by those who spread goodness and scatter the seeds of love and Light. It is a vital time now for these ‘seeds’ to grow in abundance, to bring forth love and Light to help dispel dark energies and at the same time, all misconceptions of God in whatever form one sees Him as.
There are also many people who are working for the good of mankind and the planet, driven by the desire to help create ‘goodness’ but this ‘goodness’ is not given a second thought by those who are convinced God does not exist. They have become blinkered to the possibility that their negative thoughts are helping to create realities they despise. These thoughts create a fear within them which feeds their negativity, and in turn they slip further away from the realisation that God is not to blame for anything other than the good and wondrous. If only they could spare a minute to weigh up the actions of those creating ‘wickedness’ against those creating ‘goodness’, their belief would surely become invalid? In effect, they are wasting their lives while they hold onto the belief that there is no God or Higher Power. All the time they are holding onto their rigid views valuable time is wasted because this time on Earth is not a stop-gap as we are here to live together in unity as it should be, and to learn how to give with love, kindness and compassion and to receive with gratitude, humility and forgiveness, thereby creating a world where only these principles exist.
We are quite literally spiritual beings having a human experience but we have lost faith in many aspects of our spiritual being and the result is we have lost the ‘connectedness’ to a Higher Power, yet it is always there, it does not move away. However unless we take the time out needed to free ourselves from the constraints and demands of our physical life we cannot expect to understand what our spiritual self requires during this lifetime. It is our spiritual self which we take into our next life, wherever that may be, and therefore it is equally important to look after one’s spiritual welfare as it is to look after our physical self.
It is often our refusal to accept the possibility of a power greater than ourselves which causes us to neglect the needs of our spiritual self, and ultimately this leads to our inability to work in ‘oneness’ and our chance to become a co-creator is lost.
